Icy Friday..

Today there is no school for my daughter and no work for me due to the Icy morning we woke to. It reminds me of 1998 when the ice storm knocked out our power for 7 days. Not that bad this time around. It is just icy and cold. We recieved a little snow, but mostly freezing rain and sleet. In Maine you only have to wait a few minutes and the weather will change. It's suppose to be up to 38-40 degrees this weekend. Ah,, the joys of winter in the Northeast. A day to stay in, wrap gifts, and craft..Pure Bliss!

Hi Tracey ~
It is nice to meet you ~ I found your blog from Sherri's blog ~
I saw this morning on the news about your ice in the east ~
I am a mom of 2 girls who both moved out last year ~ one got married and the other went off to school ~ It is weird because I have always been a mom at home but the Lord blessed me at the perfect time with my website ~
I don't get lonely and bored like I thought that I would ~
Talk to you soon !

Hi Tracey,
I see I made it right behind sweet Lori. I'm here from Sher's blog too, joining in the welcoming party.

Brrr, it looks so cold there. Don't know if I could handle it, I get cold when it's in the low 70s. Hope you and your daughter are keeping nice and warm.

Great to meet you.

My, My, love the blog banner Sher did for you. It certainly reflects who you are. Thank you Sher for all the hard work you did for my little sister. Love the colors so much too. Up here in Northern Maine, we had a lot of ice too, but not quite as bad as you did. Who knows tomorrow it could be 50 degrees, and we could have a flood on our hands...ah, Maine the way life should be HAHA, Love, Kath

Hi Tracey. I was just over at Sher's and wanted to stop by to say "Happy Weekend". I'm in Illinois and the weather isn't bad here today but it changes quick. I have 4 children and my oldest is in his last year of school so I'm facing a new season too. =) We homeschool our two youngest. My dad is a welder so we have that in common also. My husband was laid off from his job of 15 years just last week but we know that God is faithful and we are trusting Him.

Have a beautiful weekend. Blessings... Polly (You're going to love getting to know Lori and Tracie!)
