Reuse, Recycle

If you haven't' figured it out by now..I'm an avid recycler. My family is on the committee in my town and we are forever trying to think of ways to use old items before we throw them out.

So here is one of my more recent ideas for a new jewelry box to hold all my rings and bracelets in. Not earrings or necklaces.. I have a better way to store them I'll share later.

I took an old Alli box and turned it into a decoupaged jewelry box and lined the inside with some Martini material I had in my craft room.. it was easy and something I can use and not waste the box into a landfill forever...try to rethink the uses of many items you may throw out. Have a great weekend..

Now that is clever!! I think it is perfect and I will follow your lead and find something to recycle in my house - I'll get the kids to help too!! Fabulous Post, and a reminder that we all have things we can recycle instead of throwing away - What was that my mother always said? Waste Not, Want not! xoxo

Oh you are so clever. Why did you get all the talent in the family? If Mom was alive I would ask her about that. I adore the lining, and the cover too. I love the vintage glamour gals. When we get together next week, I will make us some Martinis. We have lots of crafting to talk about. Love, Kath

You are too cool! I never would have thought of that! Canada makes us recycle. I've really gotten into it. Saving my pennies for a composter too so that I can recycle even more.

Hey, how is Alli?

I like the Alli very much.. It really only helps if you have fat in your meals. I wonder if everything works because it all forces you to eat right and exercise. Makes sense to me. I am trying very hard to keep my goal set on trying to be more active, but not doing too great so far. I;'ll have to just keep trying.

Tracey that is great! I love it! You are so creative and recycle at the same time. I'm impressed. :) I really need something to keep all my jewelry in and this is a great idea! Hope you're having a good weekend. Mine is relaxing so far. Ahhhh.

Joanne, I have, but I think I don't eat enough fat.. when I've taken it, it doesnt' really do anything to me. I mean..I don't get any side effects, but again, I think I'm so afraid, I dont' eat enough fat to allow that to happen. Not much weigth loss yet. we'll have to see what happens.
