Hockey Champions

Recently there was a first ever women's ice hockey championship game in the Lewiston/ Auburn area here in Maine. Here is the picture of the winning team!!
Yes, that is my daughter in the front with the goalie pads on!! She has been a hockey player for over 15 years and started at 10 and is almost 25 years old. She has an ilustrious career up to this point and continues to do well... She won mulitple championships as a young player. She went to the Can/Am games in Lake Placid, New York in 1999. Won a scholarship to in Prince Edward Island to go to Trinity College School in Port Hope, Ontario, Canada and won Most Valuable Player first year there. And 2 years ago went the the women's 2007 National Championships in San Jose, California and competed with teams from all over the United States.

Yes, I'm very proud of her accomplishments and the fact she has always followed a dream and her passion. I admire that about her so much. So Congrats to Neocraft Signs Womens' Hockey Team!! and to my Daughter, Jess!!

Big congrats to the team, and to my talented niece. You sound like Ma....telling everyone about her granddaughter, over and over, and even to strangers. Anyone who would listen. Well, it's because we are so very proud of her. Awesome job, Jess! Love, and lots of it, Kath

Wow! That is so great. Proud that she's a woman playing hockey! Toughest sport I can think of! Especially being! :)

All the best,

Congratulations Jess! I don't know a thing in the world about hockey, but that sounds like a huge accomplishment!

WOW!! That is great. And as far as I can tell, she still has all her teeth!!

I love it when women follow their dreams, and do what makes them happy.
She has a wonderful mom, that loves and supports. That to makes a lot of difference.

O'w to be so Proud...... Proud Momma you. How about that as an award. I don't have a button; but if I did; you would win "Proud Momma Award" for the day.

Congrats to your daughter and may God guide her to her place in life.

Hey,congrats to your daughter for working hard and 'sticking' with it. But, I caught that 'Price Edward Island'... did she live there? I fell in love with PEI through the 'Anne of Green Gables' series.
