Pie Anyone????!!!

Yes, these are earrings I made to look like pumpkin pie. It is so easy with clay.. just make and bake! I love wearing them around the autumn holidays or just for fun. I've been experimenting making cherry pie, lemon meriange pie and other delectables. Give it a try, the worst that can happen is an underbaked pie. Have fun and let me know what you come up with for ideas.

HOW FUN! The thing that popped into my head was fruit in season. I thought...STRAWBERRIES.

What kind of clay do you use for this. And do you have to paint the clay?

It's just a clever idea.
Have a great day.

These are ADORABLE! I thought they were real pieces of pie at first. Have you finished any cherry pie ones? I'd love to see them if you did.

I use Fimo Clay.. comes in lots of colors and it's easy to work with..I love using it..most people use a pasta machine to get the clay really soft, I just use my hands and really it is fine. Have fun and enjoy. I also have an idea for chili pepper earrings too.. I'll show you soon.

I think those pie earrings are fun, they kinda look real enough to eat!

Those are so cute! They remind me of my OB who delivered my youngest. She had all sorts of funny, interesting earrings. I remember one pair in particular was shaped like baby bottles. Appropriate for her line of work I think. :)
