Aftermath....

The storm is over..officially any way.. It's pretty good outside right now. I'm safe at work and got in about 10:00pm tonight.  I've never seen so much snow in such a long time,  I remember when I was young, the snow use to be piled high and we could go sledding and have dig tunnels and such. No winters like that in a long time... except for now!!
Portland, Maine got 31.1 inches of snow breaking a record. Can you believe how much snow that is?? Many places are still digging out, but tomorrow should be a bright and sunny day to enjoy the activities that come with all the snow.
I know for me that means snowshoeing.. I can't wait to strap them on and go for a walk in my back field and enjoy what is left of the winter.
How did you withstand the storm... or were you so lucky to live someplace warm you have no idea what I'm talking about.
Either way, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

We were able to drive around on dry streets in my neck o' the woods. Sat on the couch, snacked, and watched The Weather channel's ceaseless coverage of the northeast's blizzard. We're getting the strong, cold winds from Denver's storm--no rain or snow.
