Aftermath....

The storm is over..officially any way.. It's pretty good outside right now. I'm safe at work and got in about 10:00pm tonight.  I've never seen so much snow in such a long time,  I remember when I was young, the snow use to be piled high and we could go sledding and have dig tunnels and such. No winters like that in a long time... except for now!!
Portland, Maine got 31.1 inches of snow breaking a record. Can you believe how much snow that is?? Many places are still digging out, but tomorrow should be a bright and sunny day to enjoy the activities that come with all the snow.
I know for me that means snowshoeing.. I can't wait to strap them on and go for a walk in my back field and enjoy what is left of the winter.
How did you withstand the storm... or were you so lucky to live someplace warm you have no idea what I'm talking about.
Either way, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Winter Storm

Here in the Northeast we are expecting a huge winter storm. They are saying we will get about 2 feet of snow. It may sound like a lot, but right now we have no snow on the ground at all so snowmobilers and skiers are really excited!
I have to venture out today, but hope to be back home by the time the storm hits. Stay tuned for more updates on this ferocious storm!!

Valentine's Tree

I miss having a Christmas tree in my home, so I decided to use my little red tree and make it a Valentine Tree filled with hearts and white feathers.

I love how it turned out!
